Administrator of $100K HUD funded Rapid Re-Housing grant. Through or local Coordinated Access, accepted referrals for eligible homeless families and assisted in securing affordable housing.I was responsible for all
payments associated with move-in costs such as deposits, rent payments, security deposit,
and utility deposits. Once they were housed we developed a Individual Service Plan which addressed the steps need for the family to become self- sufficient. I referred the family to all available resources to achieve their
goals. I paid their rent each month and also used Supportive Service dollars to pay for job training, day care, and any other assistance that was
needed. Input all client information into HMIS (Homeless Management
Information Systems), maintained client files while budgeting balances of both rental dollars and supportive services dollars.
Maintained all family case files as per HUD reqirements, with Satisfactory reviews for yearly audits.
October 2005 to February 2012
Outreach Worker Assisted low income families of St Tammany Parish with rent, mortages, utilities and education expenses. Answered phones with a call volume of 2300 per month. Scheduled appointments, gave referrals and connected
each client to the available community resources.
Bachelor of Science in Business
