While at MWTC I managed the facilities department which sustainment; 53 buildings, two water treatment plants, three 143 thousand gallon potable water storage tanks, one helicopter pad, two general stores, 1 megawatt diesel generator, four above ground propane tanks with a 90,000 gallon propane fuel capacity, and various storage buildings. I also managed the water utility system for the Coleville Housing complex, with both sites having a collective plant value of over $250 million dollars.
I oversaw our installations maintenance contracts that covered; potable water testing, waste water testing, sewer main cleaning, trash removal, pest control, snow removal, landscaping, and the inspection and certification of ; boilers, ski-lift, wheel chair-lift, and one megawatt base generator.
November 2005 to June 2009
I was co-owner of Stellar Painting LLC which was a residential painting contracting firm that served Phoenix Arizona and the surrounding communities. I was responsible for the administrative aspects of the company such as: budgeting, project leads, estimations, customer relations, sales, contract writing, employee payroll, and project closings. While in business the company completed over a 170 residential project, 12 Wendy’s restaurants, and various small commercial projects throughout Arizona. While operating the business I also worked at Home Depot.

While at Home Depot I worked in the following departments; Paint, Plumbing, Electrical, and Lumber. I gave quality customer service while; recommending paint products, mixing paint, lumber cutting, pipe treading, and selling lighting fixtures, and accessories. In these departments and throughout the store I; stock shelves, set-up displays, gave “how to” classes, and increased product sales through weekend promotional sale events.

I managed the maintenance and repair of 85 buildings, seven helicopter hangars, four aircraft taxiways, and hazardous containment structures, all with a combined plant value of over $353M. Supervised and directed the work of two engineering technicians, a production controller, and ten journeyman tradesmen consisting of; HVAC mechanics, pipefitters, carpenters, electricians, and maintenance mechanics. I introduced a just-in-time inventory approach to material procurement, which saved the command $200,000, and built efficiency into the labor force.
