As a Mortgage Underwriter my responsibilities include but are not limited to – Review and evaluate information on mortgage loan documentation including reviewing and approving appraisals to determine if the borrower and / or property meet loan standards. Complete a thorough analysis of loan files to determine compliance with company, investor and government guidelines and standards. Evaluate the entire credit package and collateral for residential mortgage loans and ultimately ensure an “investor”, “In Home” quality loan products. Communicate decision such as approval, suspense, denial on loans to the appropriate parties both verbally and in writing. I have been reviewing appraisals for 3 years.

My duties included however were not limited to preparing loan packages
for closing, funding, system input. Work in liaison with the customer, Loan Documentation and Attorney’s (if required). Consumer
Loans any dollar amount. Commercial Loans $50,000 and under.

My duties included however were not limited to enable me to take
charge and make necessary decisive decisions at Sheriff’s sales for repossessed vehicles. In the event the vehicle was repurchased I
conducted a condition report of the vehicle and set up appointments for potential buyers. At the time of the sale I would prepare all
necessary paper work for the transfer of titles. Assist in other areas as needed.

departments to access their needs of the Commercial Loan System. Once
this is done I’m to work on a training package to assist them in researching the information essential to accurately do their reports
and / or summaries. After the package is ready I am to conduct a training class for the users. A follow up is done to assure all of
their requirements have been met. Special projects as assigned.
My duties included however were not limited to reconcile and prepare
monthly and quarterly reports for Upper Level Management. Review
entries made to the General Ledger prior to being processed. Discuss
problem assets with the perspective Managers. Liaison between other
Departments and the Department Manager to assure accurate
documentation and reporting. Research system problem assets and take
the necessary action to correct. Create spreadsheets on Lotus, also forms and procedures on Dataease. Special Projects as assigned.
My duties included however were not limited to was to assist the Officers in whatever means possible. Processing payments, pulling
credit bureaus for skip tracing, typing correspondence. Maintain
monthly billing file for regular paying customers. Take appropriate
action to close out and collect DDA Overdrafts. Review files received on a quarterly basis for all charged-off Commercial Loans and give
them to the proper Officer for work out status and / or suit.
