Successfully launched the Marketing and Merchandising Cloud. Focused on migrating numerous applications into SaaS/Cloud offerings. Responsible for all aspects of Infrastructure operations for IBM across the Merchandising and Marketing platforms. This includes global groups, numerous applications, and SaaS environments located in 10 separate data centers, locations include San Francisco, Phoenix, Atlanta, Ireland, India, and Shanghai.

Responsible for all infrastructure and architecture related IT operations. Increased availability from 2-9s to 5-9s. Increased capacity by 300% over 3 years while holding operating costs flat. Rolled out five global SaaS locations. Introduced and implemented strong security practices, two factor authentication, IDS, IPS, and NAC. Implemented best practices for DR solutions across multiple data centers.

Managed support of multiple datacenters, 300 different applications, 5000+ servers, and 2 petabytes of storage, 100+ people. Responsible for UNIX/Linux, Windows, Storage Infrastructures, Network Design & Engineering, Enterprise Application Support, and Infrastructure Architects. Implemented cohesive monitoring across all systems, network, and SAN infrastructures. Led the planning and direction of major technology projects with enterprise wide impact. Saved $8 million over 3 years. Designed, planned, and conducted the first successful DR.

Responsible for website applications including stock quotes, gaming, contests, email, ads, reporting, and customized content. Designed and implemented applications for monitoring, inventory, change control, project management, and ticket tracking. Reporting included tools to identify unique users per site, most popular URLs, interfaced through a calendar view by day or by week/month/year rollups.
